Blackout USA Review

darkest-daysLet’s have a chat about an important program called Blackout USA. Have you ever experienced a power outage at your home? Usually – in most cases – the blackout would last a few hours, or overnight at most. We would practically sing Halleluiah when the lights would suddenly come back on, the clocks beginning to buzz again.

But… what if the lights DON’T come back on? Not in a day… not in 2 days… not in a week… not for a long time. Maybe years.

Are YOU prepared to live and thrive – heck, even survive – a massive blackout?

If not – You are NOT alone – but you CAN prepare!

The longest I’ve ever personally seen people go without power was a very cold winter in the late 1990s when the neighborhood lost power due to ice breaking wires over a vast region of our part of the country. Keeping warm was a struggle. The only thing that WASN’T a struggle that week was keeping food from spoiling since it was winter. People could melt snow for water as well as break through the ice on a local stream for more.

These days, while we still need to be prepared for widespread power outages due to weather or natural disasters, we sadly also need to consider the fact that there are people out there in the world who just don’t like us. If they could smack our power grids with an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) or other weapon, thus rendering us helpless, they’d be glad to do it. All I need to mention is the bunch of radicals known by a name that starts “IS**” and you know what I mean. I don’t even like to give that group a mention, but you need to know what we’re looking at.

Personally, I’m a peace-loving kind of person, and would prefer to think that mankind isn’t that sick. But, no matter what, should I not be able to know what to do in the event of what could become a life-threatening situation?

I think so. And, if the power grid is destroyed, you won’t be able to call your folks – there will be no phones. No texting on your cell phones because there won’t be any signals.

Do Not Wait - Disaster - Emergency

Are you prepared to cook on an open fire? Do you even know how to MAKE a cooking fire? What about food? Once the Spaghettios that have been in your pantry are gone, then what? If you grow vegetables, do you know how to “put them by?”

Do you know how to keep perishables from spoiling without a refrigerator?
The day will come when you will not be able to look on the internet to find out how to do these things.

And that’s where Alec Deacon’s Blackout USA information comes in very handy (by the way, it comes in hard copy too, because – well – if there’s a power outage, you won’t be able to read it online, will you?). It’s the result of a collaboration with a former professor by the name of Charles Green who went off to live among the Amish for a couple of years to learn the way they live off the grid.

We owe a lot to the Amish people and Charles Green, because now you can learn their ways. You don’t have to dig the religious aspects of their lives to benefit from their wisdom.

Here are some of the things you’ll learn when you get Blackout USA.

Review Of BlackOut USA

  • You’ll learn how to protect your electronics – and exactly which ones you’ll need to move forward after an EMP.
  • You’ll learn how to preserve your foods and medical supplies without a fridge.
  • You’ll learn how to prepare your automobile so that it runs, even though an EMP has destroyed its circuitry.
  • You’ll learn how to create power. You’ll learn how to find water.

Need I say more? You may not think you’ll need Blackout USA. But, please – even though you may be heading off to the kitchen to pour yourself a beer or something right now, at least get the program and read it while you’re sipping that beer.

If the worst happens, you’ll be glad you did. And, even if the worst DOESN’T happen during your lifetime, give thanks, and buy it anyway, because it’s cheap, and at very least you’ll have had something very interesting to read.
